Drive Components

Our eye-link belts can be driven by either driving drums or driving sprockets. Sprockets are most commonly used as they are the most cost-efficient. Our sprockets are custom made out of steel, stainless steel or high-quality synthetic materials.

A drive drum is recommended for use with wider belts, for increased stability and durability. Flat bar drums are recommended for higher and lower temperatures. Also the build-up of ice or debris is not a problem with these type of drums. In other circumstances less expensive tube drums can be used as idle rollers.

Our sprockets and drums are tailor-made, depending on load, preferred number of teeth, belt pitch, belt width and other specifications. Special modifications and designs are possible on request.
